6 Chamber Productions was established in 2003, by childhood friends Kai Holmes and Marvin Redhead. Their passion for cinema and gift of storytelling, promise to leave a lasting impact on the film industry. The two honed their craft while attending school at Hunter College and Howard University, respectively. They sharpened their skills of writing, directing and editing by creating their own short films, television commercials, and music videos. In 2005, Kai and Marvin were rewarded for their hard work by being honored as finalist in the Tribeca Short Film Festival. With years of experience and an innate knack of bringing stories to life, Kai and Marvin took their vision of 6 Chamber Productions to new heights by publishing their website 6Chamber.com in 2006. In October 2007, Kai and Marvin were, again, recognized for their talents by being accepted into the American Black Film Festival, as finalists in the Allstate “Be Reel” Beyond February competition. As life begins to unravel its red carpet of success for the two aspiring filmmakers, they maintain a positive outlook on life and accept any challenges with open arms.
